The Sage
Our monthly Mellow Archetype Series uses the slow, spacious practice of yin yoga as a place to explore some of the patterns that shape how we move through our lives.
For our final class in the series, we meet The Sage, the archetype of wisdom, perspective, and understanding.
The Sage isn't about having all the answers. It's about what happens when we have enough experience to recognize a pattern. When we can step back before reacting. When we become less interested in finding the next answer and more willing to listen to what we may already know.
Throughout this slow, supported practice, Trish will weave the archetype through longer held shapes, breath, sensation, reflection, and stillness. There will be space to consider the patterns you recognize in yourself, what experience has taught you, and what becomes clearer when you stop trying so hard to figure things out.
You might find yourself sitting with questions like:
What patterns keep showing up?
What has experience taught me?
What do I already know that I may not be trusting?
No previous experience with yin yoga or archetypal work is needed. Come for the practice, the reflection, or simply for a quiet Sunday with a little more room to listen.
