We do this by making time to connect - with ourselves, family, friends, & community. It means single-tasking. It means self care & soothing frazzled nerves.

Slow Tips

Slowing down is a conscious choice. Here are a few tips

01.

Be Present.
Its not enough to just slow down, we have to be mindful of what is happening in the moment. Try it during your next massage… feel your breath, the way your body responds to touch, the release of held tension.

02.

Single-task.
The opposite of multi-tasking. Focus on one thing at a time. When you feel compelled to switch to other tasks, pause, breathe, and pull yourself back. Possibly 100 times a day!

03.

Do Less.
Make space between appointments and tasks so you don’t have to rush. Focus on what is really important in your day and let go of the rest. Schedule time for lunch and savour.

04.

Breathe.
When you find yourself speeding up and stressing out…

PAUSE

Take a deep breath. Then take a couple more. Really feel the air coming into your body, and feel the stress going out.
