THERAPY

Support for the complicated parts of being human.

Individual therapy, couples therapy and expressive arts therapy for adults, teens and children.

Therapy doesn’t have to look one particular way.

Sometimes you need space to talk something through. Sometimes you need practical tools. Sometimes what you’re trying to understand is easier to approach through movement, creativity or play.

Our therapy team includes Registered Social Workers and a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), with approaches ranging from CBT, EMDR and somatic therapy to mindfulness and Expressive Arts Therapy.

Come with anxiety, grief, burnout, trauma, relationship stuff, a major transition, or simply the sense that something isn’t quite working. We can start there.

A DIFFERENT WAY INTO THERAPY

Expressive Arts Therapy for children, teens + adults

Not everything is easiest to explain by sitting down and talking about it. Expressive Arts Therapy can bring drawing, movement, writing, play, music and imagination into the therapeutic process, giving people different ways to explore what they are feeling and experiencing.

For children and teens, that can mean having more than words available when feelings are big, confusing or hard to name. For adults, creative approaches can offer another way to work with grief, trauma, caregiving, identity and transition.

You do not need to be artistic. Nothing needs to look good. The making is simply another way into the conversation.
