Registered Massage Therapist

Registered Massage Therapists are valued members of the SMC team and possess a warm and welcoming manner with the curiosity to learn and collaborate.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform a kick ass massage in exactly the style and vibe that is authentic to you. Find creative ways to include knowledge gleaned from your own self care experiences and from continuing education.

• Provide the highest quality massage therapy treatments in a safe, hygienic, professional, and courteous manner

• Be the host(ess) with the mostest… anticipate client’s needs and responds promptly and professionally, both on site and with email follow ups.

• Responsible for maintaining ongoing up-to-date and accurate treatment records. 

• Responsible for updating client information provided on Health History Form into Jane Software.

• Ensure proper cleanliness and sanitization of treatment rooms.

Skills required:

• You provide exemplary attention to outstanding customer service, and always make a personal connection with your client

• You are a superb communicator

• You love working in a collaborative environment with other dynamic folks.

Requirements:

• 1 year experience in Registered Massage Therapist role

• Availability to work weekend shifts

• Active and current license from the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario

• Professional liability insurance to practice as an RMT

Shifts available as of December 1, 2023:

• Saturday: 9 am - 4:30 pm

• Sundays: 10 am - 5 pm

• Wednesday: 9 am - 2:30 pm

• Thursday: 9 am - 2:30 pm
