MOROCCO RETREAT
THE ART OF EASE.
September 18 - September 24, 2026
Marrakech | Morocco
In a world that glorifies doing, this retreat is an invitation to soften into being.
Set in the heart of Marrakech—where terracotta walls hold centuries of stories and orange blossom drifts through the evening air—we’ll slow down long enough to listen. To our bodies. To each other. To the quiet wisdom that emerges when we stop rushing.
This is not a retreat about escape. It’s about arriving [ fully, gently ] into the rhythm of rest. Through grounding movement, meditation, shared meals, and curated cultural experiences, we’ll explore what it means to reconnect: to ourselves, to community, and to the beauty that surrounds us.
Each day will hold space for both stillness and discovery: morning practice under soft desert light, afternoons for hammams, souks, and long conversations over mint tea, and evenings spent beneath a sky full of stars.
Come home to the art of ease, where rest becomes reverence, and connection becomes the way back to yourself.

Each day begins with an energizing morning practice — slow, deliberate movement that awakens strength, balance, and clarity. The body opens gradually, breath by breath, until you feel both grounded and alive.
As the day softens, our evening sessions invite you back inward. Gentle, fluid sequences dissolve the tension that accumulates in stillness or exploration, guiding you toward release and deep rest. Some days offer only one long morning practice, creating generous space to wander, journal, or simply be.
Breathwork and meditation are seamlessly woven throughout — quiet anchors that help translate physical release into emotional spaciousness. Each practice becomes a conversation between movement and meaning, effort and ease — a steady return to yourself.
-
We begin each day slowly — with coffee or mint tea, fresh fruit, and dates shared in quiet conversation as the city wakes.
After morning practice, a generous brunch awaits: traditional Moroccan breads, seasonal fruit, yogurt, eggs made to order, and the chef’s daily creations — often a fragrant tagine or vibrant salad, always made with care.Afternoons are yours to enjoy — time for hammams, wandering the souks, or simply resting by the pool. As the sun softens, we gather again for dinner — a warm, communal meal — followed by an evening practice designed to restore body and mind before sleep.
Please note: lunch is not included, leaving space to explore local cafés and flavours at your own pace. Any additional snacks, meals, or travel outside the retreat schedule are not included.
-
Our home for the week is Riad Yasmine, an intimate sanctuary tucked within the heart of Marrakech.
The riad offers seven spacious suites, each thoughtfully designed with soft Moroccan textiles, intricate tilework, and quiet corners for reflection. Every room opens toward the courtyard and plunge pool — a serene oasis perfect for cooling off between adventures — with access to a rooftop terrace where city sounds fade into birdsong and evening light. It’s the kind of place where time slows, comfort is effortless, and beauty feels both elegant and lived-in.
-
NOT INCLUDED: flight, ground transportation/airport transfers, and optional activities.
We can help organize your taxi to/from the airport

"Where do I start! This was my first ever yoga retreat, but it won't be my last. Slow Medicine curated the most moving and humbling experience. Our amazing hosts and yoga teachers presented a unique combination of yoga practices that allowed you to fully relax and be present.
This retreat was the perfect balance of yoga, social, leisure, and me-time. I loved meeting like-minded souls and enjoyed wonderful conversations at mealtime. It was an incredible experience!"

Between practices and shared meals, there’s space to simply be.
Mornings stretch into slow afternoons — time to linger over mint tea, write, rest, or wander without purpose. Step into the nearby souk and feel the pulse of Marrakech in the colour, texture, and hum of daily life. Or stay within the riad’s walls — curl up with a book in the garden courtyard, float in the plunge pool, or watch the rooftops glow as the sun sets with a mocktail in hand.
This is your time to do as you please — unhurried, unplanned, entirely your own.
-
We will delve into various yoga practices, foster community connections, and provide opportunities for creating a “stress less toolkit”, allowing space for your personal explorations and reflections.
-
Hammam Spa experience
Day hike in the Atlas Mountains
Sunrise hot air balloon ride
Camel trek in the Agafy Desert

Our days follow an easy rhythm, with everything offered — never required.
Mornings begin slowly with fresh fruit, dates, and coffee or tea before we gather for yoga. After practice, we share a nourishing brunch — local breads, fruit, yogurt, and warm dishes made with care.
The afternoons are entirely your own: rest by the plunge pool, wander the souks, or simply linger in stillness. As the day softens, we come together again for dinner and an evening practice designed to unwind both body and mind.
Some days include a single, longer morning session, leaving generous space for exploration, reflection, or deep rest.
Here, participation is intuitive. Follow what feels right — the rest will unfold naturally.
-
Each retreat schedule is unique, but all will have a minimum of one practice per day. Most days include a second practice or workshop. Our practices range from 60-90 minutes and include movement, breath work, + meditation.
